Service Description

In this two hour lesson: when your work is a a "leather hard" stage you will learn to put your work back onto the wheel to trim and refine and create a foot! After that you can choose to learn to make a spout, add embellishments and pull or create handles. At this stage you may also choose to add engobes and use sgraffito to create decorations on your pottery. After this step, your pottery will be bisque fired and then ready for glaze. You may then choose to either glaze in clear or white glaze OR you may come back again to glaze your work with high fire stoneware glazes of all varieties of colours and learn to use wax resist and other glaze resist methods in "glazing and resists"
